Sawdust pellets (wood pellets or wood pellets) are made from biological wastes of natural origin such as wood, corn stalks, bark, etc. Through the modern production process, the above materials are pressed into hard and uniform small wood pellets.
Features of sawdust pellets
Sawdust pellets sold on the market today have the following basic characteristics:
The diameter of each tablet ranges from 6-12mm depending on the production line.
The length of each tablet ranges from 10 - 50mm.
The moisture content of the tablets is below about 8 degrees Celsius, the ash is less than 1.5%, the minimum heat is about 4600 kcal/kg.
The energy released by sawdust pellets is estimated: 1 ton of sawdust pellets = 454.25 liters of oil = 453 m3 of gas = 4,755kWh of electricity.
Thanks to features such as low humidity and low ash, plus high heat output, the efficiency of sawdust pellets is very high and safe for human health. Besides, using this material also minimizes waste treatment problems and reduces environmental pollution.
